This is a freelance project I have been working on. I wanted to create an Absolut Vodka campaign targeted to the younger consumers. I used Photoshop to create this Poster. The background collage, I did by scanning pictures of a cocktail book I bought at a thrift shop. The book is called “Cocktails, the art of mixing perfect drinks” by Klaus St Rainer. After I placed the images how I wanted, I started playing with the light, shadow and texture to give it that paper collage feel. I decided to place the Absolut Vodka Logo very big and high on top so people could know what the brand of the product is. I used the classic Absolut Vodka logo as that is something that is very consistent in their brand. I decided to approach this advertising with a mystery flavor so the audience can interact with the campaign. I hand drew a bottle of Absolute Vodka with the color and the fruit of the mystery flavor. Those are the clues I decided the audience should have. The flavor is hibiscus. I would personally love if Absolute Vodka would launch this flavor. I placed a big question mark inside the bottle. The question mark color is the exact same blue as the Absolut Vodka logo. This was the first time I used Photoshop without someone telling me I must use Photoshop. It was very hard. I am still in the “getting use to phase.” I can see myself improving everyday as I continue practicing.
