Last week we started experimenting with Premiere Pro. Premier Pro is a video editing software. The brief was a “poetic” style documentary of our journey to university. I walk to university so it was perfect as I could take the videos on my walk. I tried to make the video in POV style. POV stands for point of view. My video is filmed from my point of view, how I see the world. Because is my world, a dark filter and jazz music needed to be a part of it. The filter I used is from a video editing app called Prequel. The filter’s name is Dark. The music I used on my video is from a royalty free website. https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music/track/jazz-comedy The song I chose is called “Jazz Comedy” by Benjamin Tissot also known as Bensound. This was a personal activity but Phil, my teacher, encouraged us to talk and ask for help to other students. I want to thank my friend Alice who helped me with this video. You can also see her in the video as she is a big part of my journey to university. Editing video in Premiere Pro is hard if you don’t know how to use it. By playing with the different options and editing tools I slowly began to understand it. The video is attached below in ZIP format.
